- Cotton fabrics are produced by a number of Industries in Nigeria. Our focus is on the Cotton Fabric called "Funtua" it is processed in Katsina State. Its a very soft cotton that is suitable for use during the hot weather condition. As stated in the Daily Trust Newspaper dated 30th december, 2015, Farmers had reported that more cotton farmers were leaving cotton farming." We aim to purchase directly from the manufacturing companies,(the more we and other up coming companies buy, the more farmers will grow the plant and the more raw materials Will be available to processing companies, thereby increasing the net income of the farmers and manufacturers). Tie and dye them manually( but we are designing an automated machine that will make the dyeing process easier and faster). When the dyed fabric is dyed and starched,bit is then sewn into casual wears for females and children. Our team of tailors and dyers are going to be from the disadvantaged members of the community. This will be a source of income for them thus availing them means of meeting their needs of feeding, housing, medication and accessing good schools for their children.
