The two main factors which affect the quality outturn of fruits in transit are: Time and Temperature.
In the event of damage to a container of fruits in transit, smallholder farmers and international traders are expected to show evidence of quality and handling of their produce.
Today, they rely on specialist physical surveyors who are are expensive and not always available when needed.
To fix this problem, we have developed a mobile application which empowers smallholder farmers to collect, analyse and share evidence of their fruit quality and handling from harvest through to delivery.
